Ok, So I flew through the event as fast as I could, (I didn't even pause to read the story lol) and tried to figure out the new mechanics, so you could make the best of your time during events for Nightbringer!
First off, make sure to look at the Event's Banner for important information about the event--like its ending date and a link to the Nightmare chance for cheat cards!

It seems as though the Nightbringer events will follow the same sort of pattern that the original Obey Me events do: Collect event themed items as rewards from battle, collect enough of them and turn them in for rewards from a reward ladder. The more you collect, the better the reward!

However! There are some key differences! (at least, with this event, for further events, we'll just have to see)
Back in the OG Obey Me, we used to get a variety of items, but it seems like its been narrowed down to a single Sin (attribute) Devil Tree items, battle power ups, joker cards and more! You can take a look at the individual rewards by clicking in these two places:

In order to progress through the event and read more of the story, you'll have to play Ruri Tunes. Luckily for us, if your cards are high enough above the recommended levels, you can just skip the battle and still collect Card EXP as well as the max amount for event items.
You read that right: max amount of event items.

Another difference from the Original Obey me I noticed was that if you don't make it to S rank in points, you don't get the full amount of event items available, and cheat cards don't count for as much either--so you can't rely on them to make up the difference!

This event has 2 parts, 2 separate routes, but neither is locked with the need of keys to unlock them!

Now, in order to figure out where you'll land on the reward ladder every day. you need to first find out how many battles there are. Click here to open the map of the event, it'll show both pages and how many battles there are on each page.

For this event, we have 2 pages with a total of 31 battles. We can do each battle 3 times a day, so 31 x 3 = 93 battles a day.
If we make S rank for every battle and collect the 130 for each battle, that will mean a total of 12,090. There are 11 days in the event, so if we make 12,090 a day for 11 days, we'd get: 132,990.
That's enough to clear Page 1 and collect a few rewards from Page 2.
However, page 2 requires 200,000 seedlings *event item*, to clear it and collect all the rewards. You can see the requirements to clear each page here in this gallery!
So, as you can probably tell by now: it's going to be impossible without dropping some serious cash to buy extra ap and battles, to clear all 5 pages and collect the skill ups of the cards rewarded during the event.
However, with DP being much more easily obtained, one could get quite a bit further if they have been stockpiling their resources. DP can be used to refill AP and recharge battle chances.
Make sure to pay attention to your battle pages, make sure you leave no battle un...battled? unfought? You get the point. Do the all the battles! I'm tried, I stayed up to write the guide lol
Your battle charges will refill everyday at reset (11), so make sure you prioritize what you need/want to do! You only get so much AP during the day for free (You can collect around 190 ap free a day!)
GO BACK! FREE AP?!
Yup!
Make sure to do your daily to do list:

You can collect 30 from crossing them off your list, you can collect up to 50 from friends on your friends list, and you can get 60 from doing the 2 fridge missions. You can also get 50 for watching 5 ads, for 10 ap an ad. (Those only appear once your AP meter is empty!)

Also, everyday for the first time your AP meter runs out, you can get 200 AP by paying 20 DP! *it also comes with Grimm and 3 D-Energy cans!)

What's D-Energy?
D-Energy is the equivalent of a Monster or Red Bull for us. Demon Energy Drink! It'll recharge your battle chances! 1 can gives 3 battles, and they can stack! So if you want to farm a specific battle for Devil Tree Items, you can use more than 1 D-Energy at a time and get more than 3 battles ready to use!
Back in the original obey me, we had a function titled: Lonely Devil, where we could replay past events 6 months after they came out originally. We're hoping they eventually add that function in 6 months, so they can stay on top of the events releasing. It wasn't available for more than the first year or so in the original.
Also make sure you check your Pint Sized Challenge to collect the rewards, they could help you Level your cards, even if you can't complete them all to get the cards. You can find it at the very bottom of the To Do List page:
This Pint Sized Challenge comes with 3 pages, however, until you complete page 1, you can't see what's asked of you for pages 2 and 3.
IMPORTANT: In order to get the batch battle function:

You'll have to make at least an A rank in Ruri Tunes! Since there is Extreme mode, this can be kinda difficult! Without that function, that means you're gonna be forced to play this level 3 times in order to collect the rewards.

If you do use the batch battle function, you'll gain the rewards and skip the level but you'll miss out on all the card EXP that should come with the win.
So, to recap!
Collect as much AP as you can after 11am (reset), then use your AP to clear every single battle you can with the highest score you can manage. Turn in the seedlings for rewards, then rinse and repeat for every day the event is live. Make sure you complete your To Do List, and collect your Pint Sized Challenge rewards.
You can use DP and D-Energy to refill your battles, (You can also watch ads to collect 5 extra battles by clicking the little video button!)

Happy Playing!
